Details
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3043
Description[?]:
The Spears Plan proposes the following changes: Articles 1 and 9 - Our glorious nation should have the ability to bring out the big guns not just in retaliation, but for a preemptive strike on all enemies of these most united republics. Article 2 - Homosexuals cannot be allowed to serve in our military, homosexuality is an abomination and as such, cannot be tolerated in our proud military. Article 3 - The military has to be able to help the police in any situation deemed necessary by military high command and the police commissioner. Article 4 - Prisoners of war are both enemies of our great nation and cowards who would not die for their country, and so we will make them suffer for their treacherous ways. Article 5 - We believe that women should only serve in non-battle positions, not because of any lack of skill of strength, but due to numerous studies that have shown that when female troops are injured or killed, male members of the same fighting force are often shown to stop thinking and act on pure instinct alone, often resulting in multiple male soldiers stopping fighting to assist. This breaks fire discipline and can result in the unit being overrun. Article 6 - The government will build and maintain a large number of bunkers across the nation, to protect the citizens of Lodamun against all attacks on its glorious soil. Article 7 - The government shall have no say in how to use land mines, this is left to the experts to decide upon. |

Message | The People's Commonwealth Party had been led to believe that you had supported our party's military proposal bill. We have steadily been losing faith in the Nationalist Party and the proposal of this bill has done nothing to reverse the mudslide of offenses. "The P.C.P. is not even willing to debate this bill. It is unnecessary and the divisions between the P.C.P.'s United Republican Army Bill are backwards and rediculous! I only hope you enjoy your power now, Jack Spears. Your desire for absolute control and oppressive measures against the public will be your downfall!" - Montgomery Kimball Commissar Chairman of the People's Commonwealth Party |

Message | "If these other political parties were more than dead weight, we'd put an end to this! Don't quote the people as though you know what they are thinking. I'm certain they didn't see this coming..." - Dean Thomas High Chairman of the People's Commonwealth Party The Nationalist Party's complete inability to compromise is found to be repulsive by the P.C.P. |
