MessageMister President, Ministers and all Members of the People's Assembly,

After a lot of time studying and analysing budgets and economic system, I'm proud to present you all a rationalization of the current taxation system. I consider extremely usless maintaing the current system with 83 level of tax percentage!! "Taxpayer's Inferno" it is called...it's easy to understand why.
I try to maintain the overall revenue and with this new system the state should obtain little extra money.
Minimum taxation income level is 1000 ACR with a "symbolic" 2% tax. Maximum level tax is 90% for highest income (the extermely riches) of 15000.

MessageWe certainly wouldn't have supported this. The tax system we used to have was the nearest we could get to a sliding scale, we we actually would have preferred to have, and we are strongly opposed to the tax burden that is imposed on the less well-off under this new system.

MessageThe assertion that tax burden has stayed the same or decreased for all brackets is untrue.
Before the introduction of this system, no tax was paid for incomes below 3700 ACR, and the starting point after that was 3% . Nowadays, income tax starts at an income of 1000 ACR, and, given that the 10% threshold is already reached at 3000 ACR, the burden on all income between 1000 ACR and 4400 ACR has increased. Between that and 6000 ACR theren is indeed a decrease, until the sudden steep jump to a 35% tax marks another increase of tax burden to all incomes between 6000 ACR and 6900 ACR. and we've got another such sudden and steep jump at 9000 ACR.
While the old tax system protected low income earners and provided for a gradual increase of the burden, the new system is inconsistent and unjust in that respect.
