| This bill sets out the responsibilities of the central bank and the method of appointing the Governors of the Bank 1.1 The Responsibilities of the central bank are as follows: (a) Maintaining inflation rate of between 1-4% each year (b)Manage the Zardugal Exchange rate and protect the (ZAR) from external speulation attacks. (c)Act as a Banker for the Banks (d)Act as a Banker for the Government 1.2 Powers of the Central Bank. (a)In conjunction with the Director of Finance the Central Bank will regulate Private banks (b)The central Bank is the only institution authorized to print Zardgul Currency (b.1) All printing must take place on Bank property (c)The central Bank is the only Institution allowed to expose of currency (c.1)All destruction of Currency must take place on Bank Property 2.1Governor of Central Bank (a)Is required to direct bank towards already stated goals 2.2Appointment of Governor (a)The governor is nominated by the Director of Finance (a.1)the Director of Finance is required to make nomination to the Directorate and give details on apointee (b)The governor is then approved by the Directorate of Zardugal (c)The appointment or reapointment of Governor must take palce after each election. |
