Message | Mr. Speaker, Of course the opposition is not happy with this proposal. Sadly, they did not studied the proposed measures more carefully. If you look at the Goverment's vision you'll find all the answers. We abolish certain taxes and raise others which contribute to our goal: a just devision of wealth. In fact , this package deal will stimulate the economy. From a conservative point of view it takes courage to admit that. What kind of conservative are you ? Boris Gradenweiser Finanz Minister |

Message | Mr Speaker, this is clearly not a measure to "improve" the situation of the poorer epople in this country. In the current income tax system all people over 6000 MCR pay the same with a flat tax of 5%. Now people over 10.000 pay clearly more. With the rising of the income tax you take money from the people away. And mostely form people who donate the most to the poorer people of this country. Apart form the more beraucracy this law harms our cuntry and mostly the poor. You give the economy one signal and then an other signal. This is clearly not good. Besides, under your goverment, for the first time since decades we came in debt, and now you have to rise taxes. Shame on you! Shadow finance minister, Mr Johannes Brahm |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Flat tax benefits the rich and as such we consider it as a system which is a disadvantage for the poorer strata of our people. The GWP-SDM coalition believes that the more your earn, the more taxes you have to pay. That's a fair system. The current budget system is a left over from the former Government and guess who governed the nation at that time ? We would advice my colleague to think twice before making senseless accusations. This government has noc clue about the past! My question to the Mr Gradenweiser, why doesn't he give up this nonsens? |
