Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3048
Description[?]:
Capital punishment isn't necessary in this day and age. The worst offenders can be sent to prison, and efforts be made to rehabilitate them. The death penalty doesn't act as a deterrent, but rather contributes to a culture where the value of life is respected less. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, The death penalty law should remain as is. It gives the 'state' more power as has been discussed, and what apparently your government is aiming for. Giving the state more power. We suggest to leave this law alone, as we are not keen on it. While capital crimes such as murder can only be treated with murder, what good will it give to put someone into jail for 15-50 years? No time will replenish a lost one to a family, while the least satisfaction they may have is knowing that their loved one's killer is in hell! |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We deeply sympathise with the feelings of anger and despair which the loved ones of those who have been murdered may be experiencing, but we are not convincing the answer to that pain is to execute the murderer. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, Yes, but that does not matter! How fair it is that one must die, and the murder gets to live..! We respect your idea of religion and Catholicism , most of our parties members prefer traditional Christian values which ask to forgive, but religion is one thing, running a nation with justice is another. A big no to this bill yet again! |
