The SDWF places the extension of, and protection of, workers' rights as one of its central ideological tenents. This legislation will lend trade unions seeking to improve workplace conditions greater credibility in both an abstract and a practical sense. It will enable workers to mobilise to full effect in the struggle for great rights in the workplace.
