Bill: SDWF Child Labour Bill, 2050

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Democratic Workers' Federation

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: April 3051

Description[?]:

"Any nation, especially any nation as prosperous as ours, that endorses child labour through the arms of the law and the credibility which the state can lend to any concept, does not deserve the accolade of being called a civilised society. Child labour is an evil concept. Child labour is evil in practise. Logic would therefore have us believe that child labour is an evil. This legislation, therefore, is a remedy to an evil.

-Arnold Deniau

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).

Random quote: "All history has been a history of class struggles between dominated classes at various stages of social development." - Friedrich Engels
