Message | Speaker, Since it is currently completely user pay, perhaps the local government would chose to subsidize. We doubt that a sweeping, national reform would pass at this time, but perhaps other parties recognize that local governments may choose to do this if the people of the local area choose. It will help the environment in some areas as well as help those on lower incomes. Let the people decide. I yield. |
Date | 17:27:56, January 09, 2011 CET | From | Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA) | To | Debating the Public Transportation Reform |
Message | Mr Speaker, We do not believe in egalitarianism or environmentalism therefore we see no use for a public transport system subsidized. We could only support this in the context of a general compromise. I yield. |
Date | 09:21:46, January 10, 2011 CET | From | Freedom and Revolution Party | To | Debating the Public Transportation Reform |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The information problem is well known amongst educated economists. Monopolies are always broken and inefficient, and government is monopoly. Limiting government intervention in all things not only makes moral sense, but economic sense. I yield. |
Date | 22:10:20, January 10, 2011 CET | From | Democratic-Republican Party | To | Debating the Public Transportation Reform |
Message | Speaker, We do not understand how a party can support public transportation, but then insult public funding. It makes no sense. I yield. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
