Bill: Budget proposal of November 3059

Details

Submitted by[?]: Darnussian Reform Conservative Alliance

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change the allocation of funds in the budget. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: July 3060

Description[?]:

The Darnussian Reform Conservative Alliance propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Second Darnussian Democratic Republic.

Our current level of federal government spending (41%) is disgusting, not only from an economic point of view, but a moral one as well. Government is not smart or righteous enough to allocate almost half of the nation’s income using its own discretion. This series of spending cuts will allow for free market expansion and tax cuts to give the market some life back. As well, we feel a large responsibility of federal spending (particularly in education and health) should be transferred to the provincial governments as they are closer and more in touch with what the population needs.
