Message | Mr Speaker, we would prefer privitised companies alongside a state company. We believe this would promote fairness and lower prices for Hutorians. |
Date | 00:57:08, January 25, 2011 CET | From | Socialist Party | To | Debating the Internet Provision Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, the inefficiency of a state company would be more likely to push up prices, as the incentives simply wouldn't be there to reduce costs. Unregulated competition will push prices to their lowest possible value. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
Random quote: "The Revolution needs to progress. We as humans need to evolve into higher beings through better moral virtues. And we can achieve that if we clean ourselves from the immoral. Those who go against the Revolution, go against human progress and must be freed in the most humane way possible. That is why we introduced the guillotine." - Maximus Robertson, former Davostani revolutionary |
