Bill: Vote of No Confidence
Details
Submitted by[?]: United Civic Alliance
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill requests an early election. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline. Elections will be held immediately if the bill passes.
Voting deadline: February 3067
Description[?]:
Several "reforms" passed by the Liberal Party makes us question the sanity of the current Government. Are they in support of Hutori and its people, or the Fascists who make up their leadership? They claim to be a Liberal-minded party. Yet, they pass several limiting pieces of legislation, which would strip the people of their rights. They want to impose Fascism upon the people. This is not government for the people. This is government against the people. Not only do they do this, they would also prevent the army from conducting its duty to protect the nation. They would limit this ability by imposing restrictions on the usage of weapons that the Army would need. A politician has no right to dictate what is right and what is wrong for the military to use. This is entirely destructive. It is for this reason that we would like to request a vote of no confidence in the Government of this Most Excellent and Serene Kingdom of Hutori. |

Message | Hon Toby Andrews MP, Conservative Party Leader, Mr Speaker, we must let it be known to the House that we have supported many Liberal "reforms". We are not voting for this simply because we are in the opposition and seek to have office. Mr Speaker, we are voting for this vote of no-confidence because the Liberals have lost their mandate by passing reforms they clearly were not elected to pass. Examples include the Unlimited Salary Act and the Gun Regulation Act. Both are against what the Liberals were elected to do and thus have lost their right to govern. |
