Current: Farm size regulations are determined by local governments.
Proposed: Farm size is not regulated.
Article 2
Proposal[?] to change International trade (this is a default in the absense of a specific free trade agreement or specific trade embargo)
Old value:: The nation does not allow importation of any goods from any foreign nation.
Current: The nation allows for imports, but imposes "ethical" tariffs on nations with lower environmental and labour rights standards.
Proposed: The nation imposes reciprocal tariffs on imports, with no tariffs imposed on states which impose no tariffs on our exports.
Article 3
Proposal[?] to change The government's policy on internet service providers (ISPs).
Old value:: The government controls and provides internet service throughout the nation. Private ISPs are banned.
Current: The state owns and operates a national internet service provider, alongside private ISPs.
Proposed: Private companies provide internet service throughout the nation, without government interference.

Old value:: Nuclear power plants are not permitted.
Current: The government encourages nuclear power (subsidies, tax relief etc).

Message | Mr. Speaker, We agree with the entire bill with the exception of article five. While our party abhors nuclear warfare, in dire situations, which may never happen, nuclear warfare may need to be conducted on a first strike basis. I yield. |
