Message | Rt Hon Marcus Aston MP, Prime Minister of Hutori Mr Speaker, there are no current terrorist threats to Hutori and so such strict security checks are unnecessary. This is a waste of money that would be better spent elsewhere. As for tariffs, these are a reactionary measures which will hold no benefits for Hutori. All they do is keep the price of commodities high and insulate Hutorian businesses from market effects. This will adversely affect our people and make our businesses uncompetitive. |
Date | 17:04:56, January 30, 2011 CET | From | Hutorian Conservative Party | To | Debating the International Relations Act |
Message | Hon Toby Andrews MP, Leader of the Opposition, Mr Speaker, there are many current potential threats to Hutori even if the PM thinks there isnt. Currently 3% of our population are Davostani refugees. Many of which are here illegally having escaped from the harsh state of Satanic Davostan. The idea that Article 1 is unneccessary is a falsity. Mr Speaker, also the Luthori Empire is becoming increasingly angered at Hutorian activities. The fact our Royal House is expanding and a "Hutori Empire" could be within our nations grasp. Bitterness and resentment is brewing in Luthori and we must be wary of their actions in the future. Mr Speaker, we do however advocate Article 2. |
