Message | Mr. Speaker These reforms will only damage Alorian education. It will damage by allowing the corruption of business into education with charter schools and allowing private pre-schools. The only concern of a reasonable moderate government in education and especially in the education system itself should be the teaching of our children. Our teachers and administrators must never have to think of the word 'profit' nor should they have to worry about finances or have to cut to keep their school afloat. Also the forcing of children to sing the national anthem is the equivalent of indoctrination. If children are to love Aloria it should be out of respect for democracy and being thankful they have received a good education. It should not be through taught state love. We must strive to keep government and business out of our schools. Let us hand over the money to our schools whose only job is to educate then get out of the way!" I yield |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We must create a balance in the school system. Both a private and a public school system will work out just fine. Concerning the national anthem, the national anthem is not just a patriotic song, but a song that is rich in history in culture. Surely the children should learn about Alorian history and culture? I yield. |
