Bill: The Solentian Civil Service Reform Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Labour Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 3071

Description[?]:

The Senate must recognize that in this day and age, an alternative to mandatory military service must exist for those young Solentian citizens that cannot adequately perform the duties our exemplary military requires of its troops. Furthermore, the contributions of every citizen should be leveraged in a way that is best suited for the individual, so that each citizen can truly serve their country to the best of their ability, whether that be in the military or in national domestic service.

In a time of peace and prosperity, we must allow for our citizens to dutifully serve their country in the ways they can do it best, not just in the way that the government deems most convenient.
