Bill: Workers' Right to Strike
Details
Submitted by[?]: Capitalizt Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2142
Description[?]:
We think some categories in which fall vital services like Health, Fire and Police Departments, should have no right to strike as they'd pose a serious threat to citizens' lives. Their work is critical for society and, when they accept their work, they also accept they are responsible of caring of human lives, therefore being unable to luxuriate in strikes. Minimal service isn't enough. |

Message | No, they should have the right to strike, just like any other group in society, but, as required in the current laws, they must provide a minimal service. As is, someone with a headache can't see a GP due to strike action, not a big problem, but someone having a heartattack is still guaranteed they would be seen promptly and efficiently. The current law is sufficient to provide for both the strikee and those effected by the strikes. |
