Message | In the FHE's Solentia, things would be very different. Energy companies could collude and hold the economy and people of Solentia hostage to inflated energy prices. Monopolies would arise to stifle competition and concentrate the flow of wealth upwards. Foreign investors with no ties to Solentia could freely capitalize on our industries and firms and collect them as their own. The FHE's Solentia would be little more than a puppet state to foreign corporate interests. The FHE's Solentia would be one in which a worker cannot feed his family, send his children to school, or afford a home. How is work without a living wage significantly different from indentured service? Furthermore, the FHE's Solentia would be one with a dysfunctional economy. How can a business sell its products or services when no one can afford to buy them? The working and middle class provide the bulk of demand---demand drives our economy. If we do not guarantee the working class a living wage, how can they afford to spend and consume and stimulate economic activity? The FHE's Solentia is an aristocratic plutocracy. Finally, the FHE's Solentia is one where stock speculation and insider trading are the tools of the trade. How can we expect a stock market to function properly when well-connected investors are able to commit insider trading? How can a stock market function properly when speculation interferes with the market forces, driving prices artificially high or low? The FHE's Solentia is a bleak place. As they continue to sponsor these free-market initiatives that have been repeatedly rejected, they simultaneously sponsor bills to limit the civil freedoms of our citizens. I suppose in the FHE's Solentia, the only freedom you have is the freedom to be indentured to the stock speculators, foreign investors, megacorporations and the energy companies. We Social Democrats are not willing to shackle Solentia's citizens into the chains of servitude. These "free" market proposals will make each and every one of us less free. This radical, neoliberal and laissez-faire train-wreck must be stopped at all costs. Ryan Fay Social Democratic Chancellor |

Message | "Dear friends, for us the Berlin Wall has fallen, while it is still there for you. Communism has failed, it's time to become responsible?" Respectfully, Velio Maggiorelli - FHE Leader |

Message | If fighting for Solentia's workers, families, small businesses and taxpayers is communism, so be it. Call it whatever you like, but the fact is that this policy would be exactly the opposite of what Leader Maggiorelli claims: responsible. You could not provide any meaningful or concrete reasons why this bill would be good for Solentia. We gave plenty as to why it would be bad. The FHE would do well to keep its baseless accusations of radicalism in check. Ryan Fay Social Democratic Chancellor |
