Mr Speaker, we believe this cabinet will be the best for the Hutorian nation. Instead of a government of extremists, this will be a government of conscientious mainstream politicians with respect for all Hutorian people. We hope the Popular Alliance will agree.

MessageHon Mervyn Peters MP, HNP Leader,

Mr Speaker, this is no more than a pathetic attempt from the Liberals to remain in power. This is simply their last desperate throw of the dice.

Mr Speaker, may we remind the honourable member that the Liberal Party are the largest party and thus, have the prerogative to propose a cabinet before other parties. His cabinet proposal was a departure from tradition, but we'd expect nothing less from a party of extremists.

MessageMr Speaker, they are lecturing this party on tradition? The Hutorian law states that,"any party may propose a cabinet". Clearly this "tradition" he is speaking of is not a Hutorian one. The HNP has been operating in some form since just before 2900. We know Hutorian traditions and the Liberals do not. Perhaps in future they would refrain from creating their own law in their minds and then applying said law when in reality it doesnt exist!

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.
