Message | As long as other nations trade freely with us, we will trade freely with them. Free trade is in the best interest of Solentia. But if other nations pursue trade policies that are protectionist and unfair, we must have a way to respond appropriately to stay competitive in the world economy. Therefore, we propose the Trade Aggression Deterrence Act. If other nations know that we have taken precautionary measures to prevent unfair trade, we can deter unfair trade altogether. Remember, this bill does nothing to alter our current free trade policy. It simply gives us the option to respond to unfair economic practices regarding international trade. We hope the Senate will adopt this measure to protect free trade. Joseph Augutis Social Democratic Shadow Minister for Finance |

Message | We thank the Whigs and the Conservatives for their contribution to Solenia's economic security by voting affirmative. Clearly, good policy can trump political divides, and we hope this will be yet another step towards multipartisan work. Ryan Fay Social Democratic Chancellor |
