Voting deadline: May 2145
Description[?]:
Colleagues, We often hear the smoking laws in our country are way to strict, and our party agrees. Smoking damages the health of smokers and non-smokers, that is a fact but every single individual must have to right to participate in this 'unhealthy' recreational habit, we believe it is not the governments job to restrict them of that. So we think that we need to liberalize the smoking law, legal outdoors & private facilities + bars (with the bartender have the right to choose for a smoking or non-smoking area) and of course it has to remain illigal in places of employement as so in government buildings/public services. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government policy towards smoking.
Old value:: Smoking is only allowed in private homes and clubs.
Current: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in all places of employment.
Proposed: Smoking is legal outdoors and in private homes and clubs, but illegal indoors in places of employment, with the exception of places that primarily serve liquor.

Message | "Against. These people aren't just killing themselves, they're killing others around them too." We agree DSP but they know that to, why restrict them from smoking outside? They don't bother others doing that. |

Message | Murder is illegal in this nation, no? And seeing as they know they are killing others, could that not be classed as intent to murder? |

Message | I wouldn't push it that far...polluting industries and cars also cause cancer. When you follow your reasoning, they also would be murderers. |
