Message | Has anyone actually seen how appaling our telecommunications network actually is? Even in Lirath, there is little or no reliable phone service at all... |

Message | And I'm sure requiring the providers to charge less will allow them more capital to build the infrastructure we need, right? |

Message | I think he assumes it. If you look at the county overviews, you'll notice the infrastructure (railroads, road, communications, and such) are in terrible condition everywhere. By all standards, we have a terribly underdeveloped nation... >.< |

Message | ok, well since DUP increased our taxes by like 250%, we can spend our 2 Trillion dollar surplus solely on infrastructure. |

Message | Spending on things has no effect at the moment, I do believe that all movments (population, development, health, crime, etc...) are merely random in nature. So, we are all basically arguing about nothing more than a principle. In fact, I don't think that taxation and spending bills even have any kind of effect on visibility.... We would actually prefer subsidising the phone service to rural areas BTW, at least for a time. Once the system is up and running then all you need do is ensure that companies have an obligation to provide a service, and that they charge the same rate regardless of geographical location. |

Random fact: It is not allowed to call more than 5 elections in 5 game years in a nation. The default sanction for a player persisting in the early election tactic will be a seat reset. |
