MessageWe see no reason to do so. It is merely an attempt to benefit their own party. We have had an election recently and none of the seats in the legislature are vacant.

MessageThere have already been three elections in seven months, perhaps it is appropriate to pass legislation in course and wait a bit 'of time to vote again.

MessageOOC: To the FHE, we were wrongfully inactivated by the game moderators and lost all of our seats.

OOC: I understand that some people want to go ahead and work on bills, but right now, myself and the FIP lost all of our seats, leaving fully 1/4 of the parties powerless. And since the FIP and myself were the main rivals of the FHE and others on occasion, it seems to be in extremely poor taste to try to pass a lot of right-wing bills when the two main opposition parties were wrongfully robbed of all of our power.

It'd be really great to just vote yes, hold elections immediately, have it all fixed, and move on. This won't truly be fixed until our parties have been fully reinstated with some voting power. Just do it for the sake of the game. Thank you.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "Someone who wields power in name only can never compete with those who wield it through action." - Franz Reichert, former Luthorian politician
