Message | Mr Speaker, It is beyond me that the construction of gated communities are restricted for the private sector only. Even though, I would like to see gated communities abolished, what the Labour Party is proposing is that if the government for whatever reason may want to set up a gated community, they should be allowed to, just as the private sector is. We should not be dictated to from money hungry private toffs who only are in it for themselves, gated communities shall be set up by anyone for anyone. Just as the saying goes "What's good for the goose is good for the gander". I hope this sensible bill shall have support from the entire spectrum of politics. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, We do not recall when this article was passed, most likely it passed under the Restoration of the Monarchy. We shall support this, as we were considering the same thing very recently. I yield. |
