Message | Without minimum wage laws and union capabilities, the common man will be absolutely demolished by wealthy capitalists. |
Date | 22:18:57, February 22, 2011 CET | From | Libertarian Party | To | Debating the Unrestricted Wages Act of 3080 |
Message | The proposals have been put forward in the interest of the common man. Such proposals would significantly increase wages. Why should wages be limited? This will prevent workers, in the end, from bettering themselves financially thus damaging the economy. Having a set minimum wage will cause a rise in unemployment as companies will be unable to afford to pay workers. No one wants this. You will claim you are voting in the interest of workers but this is simply a Socialist ideological phrase that all left-wing parties quote. A free market will significantly boost all aspects of this nation. |
