Bill: Income tax proposal of December 3081
Details
Submitted by[?]: Partij van de Toekomst
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.
Voting deadline: August 3082
Description[?]:
The Vrijheid en Democratie voor Vanuku (VDV) propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Tweede Republiek Vanuku. Taking into consideration the lowered expenditure from the new budget, we propose simplifying the income taxation system to a simple 16% tax on all citizens earning above 10000VAN. This will adequately cover the expenditure of the new budget whilst making our system fairer on those who work hard and have higher incomes. |

Random fact: When it comes to creating a Cultural Protocol in a Culturally Open nation, players are not necessarily required to provide a plausible backstory for how the nation's cultural background developed. However, the provision of a plausible backstory may be a factor in whether Moderation approves the Cultural Protocol if players in surrounding nations question its appropriateness for their region of the game map. |
