Bill: Women's Rights and Freedoms Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Darnussia

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3083

Description[?]:

The only reason you lot have illegalised abortion is because of religion or beliefs? Correct? Of course I am.

Well, what right do we government have to force our beliefs on the people on an issue such as abortion. Just because you don't agree with it, doesn't mean you can take away everybody's right to have one.

It's backward, perverse and fundamentalist to do such a thing, and completely contrary to the false "liberty" and "freedom" you are always preaching about.

MessageVoting "no" just proves that we do not condone murder of a child that is simply inconvenient for a mother.

MessageIt is not murder. It is a fertilised egg.

What right do you hypocrites have to dictate whether a women or not should choose to have an abortion based on what YOUR personal beliefs are, more than often directed by religion?

And I demand an answer. A proper answer.

MessageUh, the right to life, maybe.

It meets all biological definitions of life, and doesn't magically change into a human once it is out. A fetus is a person.

I know many athiests against abortion. Two of which have been parties in this nation during your time of play.

MessageThere is no brain activity for the first six months. There's about as much "life" in it as a corpse. It's nothing but a mass of cells. So, no, a fetus isn't a person.

You're ignorance is amazing.

MessageTell me then what would a fetus more than likely be if it were to remain undisturbed in its mother?

MessageAgain how is it a woman's right to have an abortion. I still have never heard of this.

MessageClose-minded, backwards views. Sickening to think there are people still like you in this world.

Of course it's a woman's right to have an abortion. Don't be stupid
