Bill: Amending the Electoral Calendar

Details

Submitted by[?]: Society of Sadists

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2142

Description[?]:

Out of character:

The term length in Endralon is inconvenient in the following ways:

1 - players in distant timezones (such as ONUR) have to put up with the fixed inconvenience of 11am GMT elections
2 - elections are in any sense too close together
3 - it is hard to predict what days of the real life week elections will fall on

So we propose a weekly election cycle, which is 42 game months.
This will solve problems 2 and 3.
If this move fails and others prefer, we could use an odd number which would have elections drift through all timezones equally and allow some of us more sleep!
