| Message | Mr Speaker, What we are proposing here is simply nothing more than a restoration of common sense in the Alorian Defence System. When the defence industry is private, it could be owned and operated by any company from nation in Terra. Mr Speaker, what if we go to war with the nation whose private industry owns our defence supplies? Then we will be ruined and the war will be lost even before it has begun! We need a defence industry which needs to be owned and operated by the Alorian government to ensure that our weapons, our nuclear weapons do not fall into the hands of people who want to kill us. Disagreeing with this shall be an act of treason onto the Alorian nation! I yield. |
