Message | The Conservatieven would be happy to support Articles 1 and 2, should they be re-proposed in a separate bill. However, Article 3 would have a serious and damaging effect on the ability of our police forces to protect our citizens. In our view, the number one role of Government is to look after our citizen's well-being. We cannot do this if we are prevented from gaining access to all forms of media and communications. We especially oppose Article 4. We are very much supporters of all civil liberties, and as such we do not believe it is the right of the Government to say who can or who cannot marry. We do not believe that marriage is a political institution, so we see no need for our government to waste its time writing up and voting on policies surrounding an institution which we should not be involved in. The current policy allows for all forms of marriage, and we intend to keep it that way. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
