Message | Mr. Speaker, Why did the LIP propose this when they know that the establishment parties are unwilling to accept change in government during the life of this Holy Imperial Diet? I yield. |

Message | Mr Speaker, The CIL is perfectly eager and willing to work with the LIP as a coalition partner and possibly the CVP as well. Web believe that before a government is voted upon, negotiations between the current coalition partners and the LIP are in order, as to determine which cabinet positions each party will have. For instance, the CIL has no interest in the ministry of internal affairs but desires to keep the ministry of foreign affairs. That being said, we appreciate the LIP's sentiment of collaboration and look forward to further discussions and coalitions. His Imperial Highness, Prince Klemens of Geharon, Chairman of the Constitutionalist Imperial League and His Imperial Highness, Prince Siegmund of Orange, heir apparent to the throne of the Holy Luthori Empire are both quite displeased with the Luthorian People's Party because of their lack of respect and deference towards the Imperial government and the institutions of the realm. Of the new parties, it alone has virulently attacked and slandered the government and for these reasons the CIL will not be participating in a government with the People's Party until there is a discernible shift in attitude. Furthermore, no member of the People's Party shall be considered for membership in the Privy Council as long as this shift has not occurred I yield. |
