Bill: Greater Company Profits Tax While Easing Strain On Families
Details
Submitted by[?]: Labour Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: April 3095
Description[?]:
Now that we have sailed through our times of debt, the high tax rates on goods are no necessary anymore. What we're proposing is a 10% tax cut on luxury goods and essential goods whilst still increasing the tax rates for big business by 11% to compensate for these cuts and obviously they can afford it more than ordinary people. With our increased revenue, brings greater money for government services, handouts and assistances. You know, we could've increased the tax on companies by 20% the combined total of both decreases but we have actually been lenient this time. I urge all parties to support this. |

Message | LP: I like where your going on this. Article 2 I support. Article 3 I will support for now may want to lower it later on. However Article 1 would curtial job growth in the private sector. Back to when I played this game with you last time when I lowered the sales taxes more revune acctually came in then before when it was higher. I'm not lying. The reason for this is because if we lower sales taxes people spend more and more money which means more revune plus it helps the econonmy. So I don't think we need to raise a tax to make up any lost funds their shouldnt be any. |

Message | We agree with the Labour Party. Redistribution of wealth is always welcome. I just don't understand why lower the tax on luxury goods, but we will vote yes. |

Message | I'm lowering the tax on luxury goods because toffs are not the only people who buy it, working class people who save up all their life for some wedding ring or the like will be slogged with a large tax. |
