Bill: National and Private Industries Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Labour Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: October 3095

Description[?]:

I hope the two capitalist parties don't panic and overreact and say I'm trying to ban private industry. This Act is to ensure that the main/bulk of Alorian industries keep afloat if economic matters turn for the worse. Members of Parliament, you see if we have industries owned by the government, we have a safety net when a depression hits and the private industries collapse, people lose their jobs but the government ones will hopefully whether the storm and come out stronger. It is in Aloria's best interest to have this, I urge a unanimous support just like the tax proposal. Also, the capitalists love having everything public and private "side by side" as the say, I don't see why this should be different, in fact it would be quite hypocritical and contradictory of them to vote no.

OOC: I believe this has as much chance as passing as Gaddafi coming to his senses and relinquishing power. hahaha.

MessageObviously we will vote against this. It's not hypocritical, because as our understanding of the law, this would make certain sectors entirely under state control, which we will not allow such an idea to exist, as long as our party maintains a vote in this Parliament.

MessageWe will vote no as well, the current policy is acctualy a good one.

OOC: Well I keep saying the CIA should live up to its name and just kill the guy.

MessageWe will agree with the Labour Party. People's lives shouldn't depend on the will of a few people. The state must ensure safety in terms of job to the people.

OOC: Well, I keep saying the CIA shouldn't interfere with anything outside of the USA. If they so much are trying to ''liberate the world and bring democracy'', they should then kill every dictator out there, not just the ones that oppose US domination.

MessageOOC: We aren't dominating anything even in Libya, France is the one who attacked first. Plus last time I checked Britian and France are also attacking and all mitliary operations are being handed off to a NATO commander.

IC: If we got rid of the private sector then an economy would be in ruins. No one could start a business ever.

MessageOOC: I don't even agree with the British strikes in Libya, I know Gaddafi is a lunatic at all but he needs to know himself that he is a clown and his time is up and it is not necessary fro Britain, France or the US to interfere. I actually think the real reason behind Britain's involvement and you could say it about the US too, is because they want the oil and Gaddafi threatened to sell oil for Euro's instead of Dollars and thats is why we're after him. Saddam Hussein tried to sell oil for Euro's and then soon after the west invaded and Britain was dragged along because Tony Blair was a suck up to George Bush. If we want to really liberate someone then why isn't the EU and NATO invading Zimbabwe, Burma or North Korea? They are doing it much worse than Libya and they could use some liberation. It is all about oil, i'm telling you.

now back too iC: PP, you are taking this out of context, you are saying I'm trying to get rid of the private sector, I am just nationalising some aspects of it. If it was all private and a depression came along and 9/10 of businesses collapsed, then everybody will be scared to start a business out of fear another depression may hit. On the other hand if it is nationalised, there are both private and national industries, it is just that the nationalised ones will will swim and the private ones will drown. Safety first they say, that is exactly what I'm doing.

MessageOOC; Just like to add "Well I keep saying the CIA should live up to its name and just kill the guy". The CIA, like the SIS commonly known as the MI6 here in the UK isn't like other secret intelligence services like the KGB or the Gestapo, the MI6 and CIA don't go around killing people who they disagree with.

MessageOOC: Oil is involved and I'm paying $4 a gallon and it's about to hit 5 this summer, take as much oil as we want from Gadafi. I'm sorry you think the three of the countries should stay on the side line while he kills innocent people. He wont give up, you have to force him you know he has been in charge since Regan isn't that to long? And North Korea I support full out war for what they have done, call me a war mornger but if you launch long term missiles to my country on our indepedence day then we have full right to wipe you out.

IC: I support have some state businsess and private ones side by side. However you have voted to move much back to all by the state and nothing of the private sector. King Industries would not exist if you had your way.
