Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 3098
Description[?]:
In times of emergency, the government of this nation must be able to enforce "special" and "exceptional" powers, in which the power to protect the citizens of the nation from harm and destruction must be available. By allowing the national government to declare a curfew in areas where disasters or chaos has broken out, this government will be enabled with the power to protect this nation’s people, and bring the hammer of justice and order down upon those that take advantage of such situations. By establishing a curfew, we will be able to give back freedom and prosperity to the people more swiftly and efficiently than we could ever do without such a power in place. -Charles de Augustin Minister of Internal Affairs |

Random fact: Cabinet ministers who disagree seriously with the head of government would usually be expected to resign. Parties within the cabinet may attempt to manoeuvre to replace the head of government though, for example by proposing a new cabinet bill or voting for an early election. |
