Bill: End Handouts to Farmers Act.

Details

Submitted by[?]: Liberal-Progressive Union

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2143

Description[?]:

This eliminates one of the many subsidies our government gives out. We shouldn't be the personal bank for every failing buisness or the unemployed. These farmers will still receive government monetary support through our welfare laws, and if they have children they get even more Crowns. We must make our citizens self reliant.

MessageAgain, your bill descriptor is a fallacy. As the farms are State owned, farmers are State employees and as such do not receive handouts but rather wages for their work.
Now the Private farmers, you know, the ones that aren't subsidised and aren't employees rather they would be employers or self employed, if they fail they receive welfare and subsidised housing, but as they aren't the ones this bill would effect...
Your bill and premise are wrong. Please, if you are going to pass a new bill, tell the truth.

MessageCan we get the L-PU under:-
"The government's policy regarding regulation of media content.

There are laws against the publication of false information and hate speech."?

We'll vote against for want of a true and decent bill description.

MessageWell this bill isn't the theory of relativity here..christ. Subsidies=Handouts. Go ahead and vote no, I'm not going to spend 10 minutes describing a bill that can be summed up in two words, Subsides-Bad. So vote no, I insist....
A no vote on a bill means that the other party or parties found something lacking in the description, and or proposal.
When a party votes no on a certain bill the amount of seats that they have in the legislature go in the no column.
Parties that vote yes have their seats go into the yes column.
So, more yes votes than no votes means the bill, or proposal passed the legislature, despite
the no votes due to the above statements or out of spite. The more bills that pass for a party means they recieved more yes votes than no votes. Do I need to go over it again?

MessageBUT THERE ARE NO SUBSIDIES!!!

The government OWNS the farms completely IN THE SAME WAY that a PRIVATE COMPANY WOULD. There are NO SUBSIDIES as the government HAS TOTAL CONTROL.

Hope the caps get it into your head.

MessageTotal control WITH TAX MONEY which amounts to SUBSIDATION OF GOVERNMENT OWNED farms. PRIVATE INDUSTRY is not using tax money TO OPERATE.

MessageGovernment owned farms don't have to use tax money to operate, they can operate for profit in just the same way as a private company.
The only way that these farms are subsidised is that the cost of food is kept artificially low, but I would point out not below the cost of production. So there are NO subsidies. The cost of the food = production cost, no more no less and so there is NO subsidy.

MessageI've moved past this, I moved on. But please no more tantrums, people have their own opinions and they might not always go along with your opinions... Just let it go, it's over with. But I am right you know, because elitist are always right..or they think they are. Then they get upset when an inferior mind has different ideas, and when their "stupid" bills pass. I can understand the the anger.
