Bill: Pharmaceutical Benefits Assistance
Details
Submitted by[?]: Labour Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: February 3100
Description[?]:
"This will put the People's Party name to the test, this will determine whether or not the two right wing parties care for their group of people or care for all of society. What the Labour Party is proposing is that we shall pay for the lower income citizens' pharmaceuticals and we will still include the rest of society by paying partially fro the middle and upper classes. This will give greater assistance to the worst off in society and will also benefit the ones doing fine and the toffs as well. I see no credible argument against this and we need to remember that healthcare is a right not a privilege!" The Prime Minister the Hon. James Johnstone MP |

Proposal[?] to change Pharmaceutical drugs policy.
Old value:: The government subsidises the cost of pharmaceutical drugs for people on low incomes.

Message | ..You want to pay partialy for the upper class? This requires tons more of government spending their is millions and millions of people in Aloria. it;s a good deed but this goes to far in spending. We support the current law, not the proposed law. |

Message | The People's Party knows nothing! So it is the fact that we will pay PARTIALLY to the UPPER class that will make us spend millions!? The upper class is composed of much, much, much less people than the lower classes. We fully support the Labour Party's proposal, we agree completely. |

Message | This is a step in the right direction, Mr. People's Party, how can you say that people do not want this? Who does not want free medical care or medical care that is paid for a little. The toffs will still have to pay maybe at about 10% not the full amount, this is a win-win for all classes the working class and the toffs. OOC: People's Party are you for real? Or is this just an April Fool's joke? Also the silence is golden from the Christian Democrats. |

Message | OOC: Shush about my silence, I don't post that much anyway, specially recently. But yea, lots of papers and books I have to finish for the next couple of weeks, don't look for me to be too active. IC: The economic ramifications for this change could be tremendous not just for the people but also for the government. Could our budget handle this change in law? |

Message | OOC: Oh right I understand. I'll be pretty busy this month especially in the second half, with the referendum we're having in May, I'll be campaigning for the no vote.and I have to go to Liverpool which is in the north of the country for my brother's wedding later this month, but anyway. IC: I think our budget will do pretty well under this new law, if you don't agree I will change it so we just pay for the lower class entirely and the upper class can pay for themselves. |
