Message | Yes, no , maybe? Just throwing this out for some talk. We played around with putting in between level taxes. Generally across the board, we increased taxes. While this goes against what we wanted to do, this tax system would provide us with a good surplus, that would allow us to deal with the current crisis and any future events. We are not fully sure on on this, but we throw this out as an alternative to the Labour's tax proposal, that really does nothing to help solve the budget shortfall but rather raises the taxes on the rich. |

Message | No one ever said taxes couldn't be messy. This change would leave us still short of being balanced. |

Message | I could vote for this one, however if we are still in the red, you can always increase the taxes on companies, luxury taxes etc |

Message | With the current budget, this would put us back into the black, for now. Something is very troubling with the economy right now. |

Message | We can support it but we still need to cut spending, I would like the LP to contrubite what the think that we are cutting is going to hurt people. |

Message | Moving this forward. We will need the surplus for now, until we can fix the economy. |
