Message | "What!? How dare you! 24 months is too short! The people obviously want The Capitalism Now! Party as Head of State and top party or they wouldn't have voted us so." First off, the only reason you have the largest party is because the liberal vote is divided among 7 liberal or somewhat liberal parties. If the people really wanted you in power for a long time, they would have given you a more than 200 seats majority and the Head of State election would have been a lot less close. Three-fourths of the people obviously wanted a more liberal form of government and the one-fourth conservative MINORITY of the country voted you in power only because you were the only conservative party at the time of the election and thus their vote was not divided. The people don't really want you. With that argument struck down, another thing must be noted. 24 months is not too short. Not too long ago you voted WITH the majority to shorten the term from 36 to 24. Apparantly now that you have Head of State you want to keep your power 48, more than it was before! The ICP will not tollerate this hypocrisy of the CNP and will thus expose it to the other parties of this country. The people have the right to vote once a year so that parties they find that no longer voice their oppinions can be removed. The bottom line is, if the people really wanted you, then you wouldn't have to fear the next election and thus you wouldn't have made this bill. You making this bill proves that you are afraid you would lose power if the elections are held soon. Therefore, the ICP is against this bill and we hope the others are against it, too. |

Random fact: Players consent to the reasonable and predictable consequences of the role-play they consent to. For example, players who role-play their characters as committing criminal offences should expect those characters to experience the predictable judicial consequences of that. |
Random quote: "The main problem of the left is that it has been traditionally divided and unable to reach agreements between different leftist views, whilst the right has almost always moved in the same direction by giving concessions to different rightist points of view." - Aelius Celer, former Selucian politician |
