Bill: RP Law: The Creation of a New Capital Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Libertarian Socialist Party of Darnussia
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 3110
Description[?]:
Ladies and gentlemen of Darnussian parliament. I bring forth you you a proposition to create a new capital city on a currantly sparsely populated Migrant Island. This island would be renamed the Federal District of Darnussia and the name of the new capital would be the city of Darntus, the king who in ages past unified our two peoples. Our nation lives still divided over islanders and mainlanders. This attempt to make a new capital not in Darnussia and not in Narikaton as a symbol that neither rules over the other. This is a nation made up of two great peoples and this new spot between the two will be the symbol of that. We will also create this city with the needs of a much more modern Darnussian republic in mind, a place to celebrate our history and accomplishments and create a city that will symbolize all we have striven for. A place Terrans the world over will look upon with awe. |
