Bill: Prevent Child Abuse Act of 3110

Details

Submitted by[?]: New Aloria Party (NAP)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 3111

Description[?]:

“A teacher should not have the right to strike a child as punishment for something they did wrong, schools should have teachers allow them only to use denetion, suspension, and expulsion. Having our teachers being allowed to strike children in the back of the leg, head, hands, arms anywhere is a form of child abuse they are not their parents, and nor should parents strike their children except for spankings. We must look at the amount of lawsuits these may start; the Labour Party has said that this won’t happen because no one wills changelle a law. That is incorrect history shows many lawsuits are filed over a law and a good amount have made it to the Alorian Supreme Court. Not only that, what if a teacher is having a bad day and one student is being so rude, instead of a few whacks the teacher snaps like anyone can and beats the child bloody or worse to death, the same supporters of child abuse will defend him/her saying it was copal punishment not murder. I ask that Parliament defend our children and make school safer places, not having them worry if they say something wrong if they are going to get smacked.”-Bill Owens PP Chairman

Random fact: Particracy allows you to establish an unelected head of state like a monarch or a president-for-life, but doing this is a bit of a process. First elect a candidate with the name "." to the Head of State position. Then change your law on the "Structure of the executive branch" to "The head of state is hereditary and symbolic; the head of government chairs the cabinet" and change the "formal title of the head of state" to how you want the new head of state's title and name to appear (eg. King Percy XVI).

Random quote: "If liberty and equality, as is thought by some are chiefly to be found in democracy, they will be best attained when all persons alike share in the government to the utmost." - Aristotle
