| A member with the confidence of the majority of the Council shall be recommended to the Sovereign by the Lord Speaker of the Council; and if accepted, he or she shall act as the head of government and preside over the cabinet. As the head of government, this member shall also have the privilege of appointing other members of the Council to serve in the various positions of the cabinet. |
