Message | Mr Speaker, During our election campaign, I personally promised - as leader of the VP - that fairer takes would put in place. As you can see, before this election the majority of our population paid 60% in tax. Now, Mr Speaker, the majority will pay under 50% in tax. On the other hand, the rich few will pay over 70%. This brings about a fairer tax system, something we need in our nation. |
