MessageMr. Speaker,

Perhaps we should compromise. This bill as is a violation of a persons personal liberty. Instead, we fill it would be better to propose that people show respect when it is played but they still do not have to sing it.

I Yield.

It is not, there is no right to be unpatriotic, we firmly believe that this law does not abridge freedom of speech.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

It is not freedom of speech we are arguing here. It is a persons choice we arguing. This bill forces children to sing the anthem. And while the ILA is just as patriotic as any other good Luthorian, we feel it unnecessary for the government to be involved in the school system, which if we are correct is primarily a private institution and thus the government should not interfere.

I Yield.

Random fact: Did you know you can change the official name of your nation? All you need to do is draw up a new name that is in accordance with the Nation Renaming Guide, pass a bill proposing the name change with a two-thirds majority and then post a request to Moderation on the "Renaming Requests" thread. You can change city and region names in this way too.
