Bill: Kanjor isn't Welcome

Details

Submitted by[?]: Tuesday Is Coming

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill is a resolution. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: January 2144

Description[?]:

As Deltaria's assistance has been obtained, we really dont need additional foreign troops here.

However:

http://www.takeforum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3417&mforum=particracy
"We will be sending 90,000 peacekeeping troops and 134 armored tanks by April 2143 to aid the Deltarians. We have been long friends to Lodamun and we do not wish for the country to slide into civil unrest. Therefore, we have decided to institute our Social Darwinism Act onto troubled parts of the country, with the consent of the Deltarians, of course. (http://82.238.75.178:8085/particracy/main/viewbill.php?billid=30521)

If this trend of instability were to continue and the peacekeeping forces were not to have arrived, Lodamun would have surely been destroyed by itself. The peacekeeping coalition deserves a big thankyou from the Lodumunese people.

We will leave the country only when we think that problems have been solved. This may take months, or many, many years. Unless we have a 2/3 majority wishing for us to leave, we cannot and will not do so.
...
I thought that Deltaria was sending 100,000 troops. I guess that I was mistaken. However, I've sent a large number, 20,000, because of the volitile nature of your country."

Given the tensions we have had with Kanjor in the past, I now ask them to leave, or else not to come.

Akston, Faithful Minister for Foreign Affairs

MessageFine! Then be prepared for the Kanjoran onslaught!

All we wanted to do is supply you with stability in a time of need! A friendly hand of comfort during your troubled times! And how do you thank us!? By telling us to leave and threatening to attack!

Frankly, I don't think that your nation is either stable or developed enough to survive without our aid. Furthermore, there have never been times in the past when we have been hostile to you. The Far Right Freedom Party has been dead for nearly two decades!

I sent a detachment of troops (5,000) last month, in accordance to my message, and I plan to send the rest (15,000) by June. I emplore you to allow our troops to help you.

IF YOU TRY TO EJECT US from the country or prevent the landing of further reinforcements, consider that war has been declared. Certain legislation allows me to declare war at my own judgement. I must use these threats so that our troops may operate peacefully and effectively in your nation. I assume that Deltaria will aid me.

MessageKanjor are an unofficial part of the Axis, and have been called on simply to back up the Deltarian Peacekeepers.

Message3/4 of the voting parties are currently in favor.

Sufficient margin, considering that no supermajority was ever required.

MessageAbstain. You got yourself into this, now get yourself out. A majority votes for both Deltaria and Kanjor to withdraw. Meanwhile the people will resist all fascist invaders.
