Message | Mr Speaker, This is disgusting blasphemy. Luthori is a Christian nation and this is the Devil's work. Allowing homosexuals and sodomites to "marry" and adopt children is unthinkable. I yield. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, If Luthori is a Christian nation as the CIL states, then you have nothing to fear. This bill will not change how Luthorians behave, but it will remove government from where government has no place. I Yield. |

Message | Mr.Speaker Many of the countries in Terra have implemented the policies that you have propose already. Therefore Luthori would not lead the way if this bill passes. Many of those countries have no morals, no culture, no tradition, no honour...we do. Let us not turn into the wrong path. I yield |

Message | Mr Speaker, The fact that Luthori is a Christian country does not mean that there is not a small minority of sexual deviants and devil worshipers who would engage in blasphemous conduct. The CIL is open to the possibility of entirely taking government out of marriage and only permitting recognized churches to issue marriage contracts, however we strongly oppose granting marriage contracts to homosexuals. I yield. |

Message | ADDENDUM: We do not mean to be disrespectful towards the ILA, it is every Luthorian's God-given right to have his own opinion. However, we strongly urge our friends in the ILA to abandon such issues especially when considering that the two largest Luthorian Churches, the Church of Luthori and the Traditionalist Lutheran Church, which together constitute 95% of the population, denounce and condemn these practices in the strictest way possible. We know that the ILA does not believe in these practices and finds them as immoral as we do and we understand that their ideas stem from a belief that the government should be limited. We share their belief, the government's sole function is to preserve the social order. Unfortunately, the social order cannot be preserved if we allow our morality, our religion and our traditions to be destroyed. |

Message | Mr. Speaker, It is outrageous that an ally, and one usually very respectful, would ask as to just abandon an issue that many Luthorians care deeply about. Most polls conducted by ourselves and outside organisations show that Luthorians believe heavily in small government. They want government to be removed from their lives. We in the ILA feel we are the only party truly fighting to remove the government from their lives. Luthorians have both far right and far left parties seeking to dominate their lives and we are the only true alternative. The issue of marriage will be removed from this bill, but we will bring it back up at a later date. The other 3 articles will be put to a vote. I Yield. |

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically |
Random quote: "It is obvious that the laissez-faire ideology represents the interests of big business. For decades, the right-wing has opposed welfare programs and nationalised companies, in favour of big business disguised under 'economic liberty'." - Cecilia Xu, former Gaduri politician |
