Bill: Prisoner Choice Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical New Party
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: June 2144
Description[?]:
Do we have forced-labor camps in our democratics borders? Of course we do, it is compulsory for able-bodied men to work is it not? I think they should have a choice, because a choice brings responsiblility, and value to what one does. If he is motivated to work from his own will, he will work better than if he was forced, whether he is making license plates or wallets, it's a proven fact. Do you want prisoners to loath everyday in prison, or do you want them to strive to be better citizens when they get out? |

Message | They are prisoners, they lost certain rights when they decided to commit crimes. A wage on top of it? Why should a criminal make any money as long as a non-criminal may be unemployed? |
