MessageIf there is a free public healthcare system, why do private clinics require heavy regulation? Since we are providing people with an outlet to free, decent healthcare, then it seems that the private providers would need to be both excellent in quality and fair in price just to exist.

MessageThe ACF makes a good point. Though regulation would be needed to have the private health clinics comply with accepted standards of practice.
