| Right now, somebody can be euthanized if a doctor agrees to it. We propose to change this to needing a court order. The patient can go to court, or get a representative to go to court, and ask for permission to be euthanized. Upon reviewing the patients status, and recommendations of the doctor, the court will decide if that patient be euthanized. If the court decides no, then the patient remains alive. If the court gives its consent, then the patient can be euthanized at anytime of his/her choosing. |

| Message | Current says that Euthanasia is allowed with consent with the patient and doctor. I meant if the patient has a terminal illness. I just do not think that somebody should just be allowed to terminate their own life. What if they were delirious or something and did not mean it? |
