Bill: Hunting (Un)Regulation Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical New Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: July 2145
Description[?]:
Why should the decision just be "left' to the local governments? We should be able to freely hunt and fish at our leisure. We have laws protecting endangered species, so if such-and-such a speices of fish is getting endangered.. we have laws to protect it. It's kind of redundant to protect what isn't being attacked. |
Proposals
Article 1
Proposal[?] to change Government regulation of hunting.
Old value:: The matters of hunting and fishing are handled by local governments.
Current: Hunting and fishing activities are restricted to designated areas and periods.
Proposed: Hunting and fishing is not regulated.

Message | Hunting and fishing until something is endangered and THEN regulating it is a bit near sighted. Healthy, sustainable amounts of these animals should be maintained and addressed. This being said, leaving the decision to local governments does not mean they will actually enact any laws at all, it only gives them the right to do so if they see it as the best idea. |
