Message | Mr Speaker, There is a very thin line to be tread. On the one hand we must respect the right of our religious peoples to decide for their own children - as is the right of all parents. On the other, we must also respect the child's right to be protected from disease. As such, the Volkspartei must abstain from this bill. |
Date | 10:54:08, June 04, 2011 CET | From | Dorvik Christlich Partai | To | Debating the Mandate of Vaccinations Proposal of 3131 |
Message | Mr. Speaker, God did not give us the intellect so that we could forgo its use. However, how can we be sure that these vaccinations are all for the best and not result in an unfortunate side effects? The better option for the Christlich Partai would have been that "government encourages vaccinations for children, but does not enforce them". Thus, we have to vote nay. |
