Details
Submitted by[?]: Bürgerlichen Soziale Union
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: September 3133
Description[?]:
Robert Seiler steps up to the stand: "Ladies and Gentlemen of the Volkskammer, I stand before you, to announce my party's proposal for a reformed Foreign Affairs section. It should be noted, that we propose this as a temporary measure. Dorvik struggles with a crisis of its own, and it no longer has, not should it have, the money to fund foreign problems. The Dorvish population have always been generous and looked upon other nations in helping them to be as powerful and developed as Dorvik though they have never been returned. Now, when they themselves struggle to keep their economy alive we simply do not have the money. Concluding, though - once the Dorvish struggle ends we will without any objection support reestablishment of this law and sending aid to countries that are poor or need development. I thank you, Robert Seiler, Revolutionären Volkspartei Leader." |

Message | Mr Speaker, The Revolutionary Volkspartei makes a good point - we are in a crisis. However, we should not by any means use this crisis as a means to forget our responsibility to the poorer people in the world. I will, however, support the reduction in aid for the time being, but by no means should we completely reject aid. I hope my cabinet colleagues will support me as such. Jyrki Tamsen - Finance Minister |

Message | Robert Seiler steps up to the stand: "Mr. Speaker, We are once more caught in the ties of lies and ignorance. Just after this bill was sent to vote, the Volkspartei proposed insane budget cuts on all areas. They themselves admitted that we are in a crisis and with a withering population we need to cut back our budget to save our economy. Yet they say something completely different here and attempt to cover it up with hippocracy. I dare hope that the Dorvish people will see the true agenda of your party next elections Mr. Jyrki Tamsen, and I dearly hope you fail miserably as even something like simple of debate is unworthy of you and your colleagues. I also wish to inform you that Dorvik has completely no responsibility whatsoever to poorer nations of the world. And it will not have any as long as it stands. Though, like we mentioned, this is only a temporary measure and I cannot stress this enough. Once the economy stabilizes and everything is back to normal, we will be glad to support a bill reestablishing this aid to poorer countries. Thank you, Robert Seiler, Revolutionären Volkspartei Leader." |
